About Me

I have been passionate about animals from a very young age and was very fortunate to grow up with a wide variety of pets. These pets included cats, dogs, birds, ponies, pigs, goats, rabbits, and a tortoise. Currently, sharing our home, are two adopted dogs; Daisy who is an American bulldog cross boxer and Max, a Springer Spaniel.  Both Daisy and Max thoroughly enjoy the company of other dogs when they come to stay and welcome them all with open paws!  Also sharing our home are two cats, Wizzy and Biggles who are kept safely away from any boarding dogs. Growing up and owning such a wide variety of animals,  and more recently taking on two adopted dogs that have come from completely different backgrounds, has given me a real understanding, not  only of how important the welfare of our pets is, but it has also given me a variety of  hands on experience. In addition to all of the above I have also spent time as a volunteer walker for Rescue Remedies Dog Rescue. Not only have I found this incredibly rewarding but it has given me a huge amount of experience in handling a whole spectrum of dogs, large, small, nervous, confident, old and young.  Spending time with these fabulous dogs has given me an even greater understanding for the individual needs of each different animal and their specific needs from me. Another passion of mine is running and more recently I have discovered that I can combine two of my passions when I discovered Canicross. Max and I have spent many a happy morning or evening running and exploring the local area and beyond. I am reliable and professional; someone you can trust to take carer your pet as if they were my own.
